PFR Biznest

PFR Biznest is a programme aimed at boosting the activity of business angels in Poland and encouraging them to invest in young, innovative companies.
PFR Biznest is aimed at Venture Capital management teams that plan to invest in companies at an early stage of development (seed, pre-seed) together with private investors with adequate capital and experience (business angels).
The programme provides funding to VC funds that invest together with business angels, taking minority stakes in companies. The Biznest funds, through the activation of private capital and the personal involvement of business angels, provide companies with so-called smart money.
The fund can be established in two models:
The first assumes that the managing partners include a business angel who provides a significant portion of the capital in each investment:

Goals
The aim of PFR Biznest is to increase the scale of financing for early stage companies by activating private capital in the form of Business Angel investments and:
- Building and developing an ecosystem of Business Angels, including Business Angel Networks and informal groups of Business Angels
- Building new management teams, co-investing with business angels
- Building the best standards in the Business Angel market, including supporting syndication processes
