Statement of PFR Ventures regarding amendments to the EU regulation "Omnibus"

PFR Ventures Sp. z o.o. wishes to inform that PFR Starter FIZ, PFR Biznest FIZ, PFR KOFFI FIZ, PFR Otwarte Innowacje FIZ, and PFR NCBR CVC FIZ AN constitute financial instruments within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council ("General Regulation"). The indicated financial instruments feature, therefore, a different legal status than e.g. Bridge Alfa which does not qualify as a financial instrument. Bridge Alfa is a grant project within the meaning of Articles 35-36 of the Act of 11 July 2014 on the implementation of cohesion policy-related programs funded under the 2014-2020 financial perspective.

Consequently, changing the definition of "beneficiary" as provided for in the General Regulation, introduced under Regulation No. 2018/1046 of the European Parliament and of the Council ("Omnibus"), does not affect the terms of funding as part of the financial instruments of: PFR Starter FIZ, PFR Biznest FIZ, PFR KOFFI FIZ, PFR Otwarte Innowacje FIZ, and PFR NCBR CVC FIZ AN. Omnibus does not introduce any modifications with regard to the definition of "beneficiary" as part of financial instruments.
