Agnieszka Syguła has become the Vice-Chairwoman of EVFIN
Agnieszka Syguła, Director of the Legal Department at PFR Ventures, has become the Vice-Chairwoman of the board of the European Venture Fund Investors Network – an international organization that brings together major national investors in venture capital.
EVFIN (European Venture Fund Investors Network) is an international organization, founded in 2011 by major national investors in venture capital. It brings together entities from 19 European countries, including the British Business Bank, French Bpifrance, or German KfW Capital (full list at the end of the text). The organization is a platform for dialogue between investors in venture capital and the institutions of the European Union. An additional goal is to exchange knowledge and best practices among member institutions.
At the beginning of July, Agnieszka Syguła from PFR Ventures took up the position Vice-Chairwoman of EVFIN. She will take her place in the three-person board, which currently includes Antigoni Lymperopoulou, Chairwoman of EVFIN representing the Greek HDBI, and James Brennan, Vice-Chairman of EVFIN on behalf of the Irish ISIF. Agnieszka Syguła will remain in the role of Vice-Chairwoman until the end of the year, and then will take over as Chairwoman. She will simultaneously continue to serve as the Director of the Legal Department at PFR Ventures.
EVFIN is an organization of key importance for PFR Ventures. In the early years of its activity, PFR Ventures acquired massive knowledge from its members, which allowed the development of a professional company, conducting activities in accordance with international principles of investing in venture capital funds. I am glad that now I can stand at the helm of EVFIN. I want to continue to focus on making EVFIN primarily a platform for knowledge exchange, but also a voice of institutions like PFR Ventures
says Agnieszka Syguła, Vice-Chairwoman of EVFIN and Director of the Legal Department at PFR Ventures.
